They do have charity on some ATMs in the UK

But its an added option

In mexico its the last thing that the machine asks you before you get your money... when you are travelling you think they are asking about international charges. So I guess I left a few pesos in mexico

Or perhaps we could work with revenge as a prime motivator -- instead of charity?

I like the ATM charity idea - esp. if that would mean I could exact a matching charity tax on the banking institution with whom I make the transaction. I'm sure there are more than a few people out there who are hankering for some sweet revenge and a chance to make the world more fair.
