It's remarkable what you learn from these little "snippets of wisdom" that occasionally turn up here on this blog, for example, "For 2,000 years in the history of the west, most of philosophy simply was Self-Help." Now I never knew that about philosophy, and you could have fooled me & just knocked me over with a feather over it -- but so ticked I am to hear about it!
